I grew up on Hummingbird Lane in Southwest Virginia which seems like a world apart form New York City.I would venture to guess that whichever images of "Hummingbird Lane" that come to you are probably close to the truth. I named my store after my childhood home because I wanted my blanket collection to reflect those nostalgic, simple and irreplaceable memories.
Living in Manhattan for the past 13 years, the most cosmopolitan city with luxury baby goods within walking distance, I found a lack of variety for my newborn daughter. A love for cashmere and wanting only the finest quality with fanciful designs for my baby girl, I decided to design her a cashmere sweater and blanket myself! They quickly became her favorites! What child wouldn't love the luxurious softness, warmth and comfort of pure cashmere?
After receiving many compliments and requests to order, Hummingbird Lane Cashmere was born!
